Marcus Hondro

Marcus was a reporter for the Bowen Island Undercurrent; has won short story contests and had numerous plays produced. Actor credits include dozens of speaking roles on TV and in films, 5 years as a member of Vancouver Theatresports, stage plays and three Jessie nominations. A former blues drummer who recorded with RCA Canada, he shared stages with Paul Butterfield, Joe Cocker, West Coast Comerford and the legendary Muddy Waters. Now that he is old Marcus is indulging himself and writing novels. "It passes the time and is also cheap on gas," he says.

Marcus is a featured reader at the Rhythms and Rhymes: An Evening of Literary Delight, on Friday, September 13 at 7 PM.
