Jude Neale
Jude Neale is a Canadian poet, a classical vocalist, spoken word performer, poetry workshop facilitator and mentor. Jude’s work is frequently featured in journals, anthologies, and e-zines. She has been shortlisted, highly commended, and a finalist for many national and international competitions, and has written 12 books. Her book, A Quiet Coming of Light, A Poetic Memoir (Leaf Press) was a finalist for several awards including the Pat Lowther Memorial Award, which recognizes exemplary Canadian female poets, the Pandora Award, the Magpie Award, the Delta Literary Arts Award and the RCLAS award, among many others. The River Answers, (Ekstasis Editions) was published in early 2021, along with Inside the Pearl (Guernica Editions)—a book she wrote during her residency there. Last years book is called The Flaw (Ekstasis Editions). She has just released her twelfth book, Water Forgets Its Own Name (Ekstasis Editions), a collaboration with visual Artist, Nicholas Jennings.
