Welcome back to the Write on Bowen Festival, once again being held on beautiful Bowen Island/Nexwlélexwm! We have an excellent line-up of events and activities planned for writers of any genre and level of experience.

FRIDAY NIGHT we kick off with Rhythms and Rhymes: An Evening of Literary Delight, a presentation of readings by local authors, poets, singers/songwriters and spoken-word artists.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY we are presenting eight insightful and interactive workshops, featuring engaging and inspiring facilitators who can help you deepen your craft.

At our Saturday evening FESTIVAL GALA we are thrilled to be presenting multi-award-winning author, John Vaillant, who will be reading from his latest book, Fire Weather: the Making of a Beast.

Special events include a Mix & Mingle reception and our popular Saturday Luncheon Discussion, with the presentation of an inspiring session, Finding Clarity, Confidence, and Joy as a Writer, with Anita Adams.
